1. Who we are
This policy covers Online Creative Dudes Pty Ltd (ABN 87 641 994 087) of Perth, Western Australia (OCD, we, us, our), and the website at onlinecreativedudes.com. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Questions about this policy go to hello@onlinecreativedudes.com or 0424 180 755.
2. What we collect
When you contact us
Our enquiry, quote and contact forms ask for your name, business name, phone number, email address, what you're after and a message. If you call, text, email or book a meeting, we get whatever you share with us that way.
When you refer someone
The referral form asks for your name and email, and the name, business, mobile and email of the person you're referring. Please only refer someone who's happy to hear from us. When we contact them, we tell them who referred them and how we got their details.
When you're a client
To deliver our services we may hold your contact details, billing details, access to your ad, analytics and website accounts, campaign and lead data, and the job outcomes you report to us. Payments are handled by your bank and our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers.
When you browse the site
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to measure visits and the results of our advertising. They collect things like the pages you view, how you got here, your device and browser, your rough location (from your IP address) and whether you contacted us. See section 5.
3. How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry, quote you and book a call;
- to deliver, manage and bill the services you sign up for;
- to contact someone you've referred, and to apply your referral credit;
- to understand how people use the site and improve it;
- to measure and improve our own advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited the site; and
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell personal information. We won't send you marketing you haven't asked for, and every marketing email we send has a way to opt out.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the people and services we need to run the business:
- Our team and contractors, some of whom work remotely from overseas, under the same confidentiality obligations as everyone at OCD.
- Service providers that run parts of the website and business for us: Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivers form submissions to our inbox), Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and Workspace), Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising), Calendly (meeting bookings), Elfsight (the Google reviews widget) and Cloudflare (spam protection on some pages).
- Advertising platforms you use, such as Google and Meta, when we manage your accounts.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, and anyone the law requires us to tell.
Several of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States and other countries. We pick providers with recognised security and privacy practices, and they handle the information under their own privacy terms.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We load Google Tag Manager, which runs:
- Google Analytics 4, to see how visitors use the site;
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, to see which ads lead to enquiries and to show our ads to past visitors. Where Google's enhanced conversions are on, the contact details you submit are scrambled (hashed) before they're sent to Google, so Google can match them without seeing them; and
- the Meta Pixel, to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to past visitors.
These tools set cookies and record events such as page views, phone and email link taps, and form submissions. You can manage or turn them off:
- block or clear cookies in your browser settings;
- install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on;
- change your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com; and
- change your Facebook ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
The site still works if you block these cookies.
6. How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including limiting account access to the people who need it and using services with strong security. No system is risk-free. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and, where the law requires, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or the law requires (tax records, for example, are kept for at least five years). When a client agreement ends, we keep client data for 90 days and then may delete it, as our Terms and Conditions set out.
7. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@onlinecreativedudes.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If we can't do what you ask, for example because the law requires us to keep a record, we'll explain why.
You can contact us without giving your real name where that's practical, but we'll need a way to reply.
8. Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, email hello@onlinecreativedudes.com and Garo will look into it and reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
9. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the way we handle information changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
