A plumbing website has one job: get the person with the overflowing toilet to tap the number. Everything we build is arranged around that, and then around ranking for the suburbs you serve.
Load in under two seconds on a phone with two bars of signal. Show the number at the top of every screen and in a sticky bar at the bottom. Say what you fix, where, and what it costs to get you out. Show the licence number, because the person has been burned before. Give them a reason to pick you over the next result: a dollar-off first service offer, a same-day promise, a no call-out fee if the job goes ahead. Then get out of the way.
We have built plumbing websites around that list for years. The best of them has a popup quote form with the offer, a sticky call / text / quote bar on mobile, a Text Us button that opens a pre-filled SMS, an About the Owner section with his name and licence, and a Google reviews widget on every page. It converts because every element answers a question the caller has in the first ten seconds.
Hero with the offer and the form, trust pills (licensed, insured, fixed price, same day), service tiles, reviews, final call to action. Mobile first, desktop second.
One per service: blocked drains, hot water, leaks, taps and toilets, gas, drainage, renovations, general maintenance. Each with its own offer and FAQ.
The structure that makes organic search for plumbers work: service pages as parents, suburb pages as children, every page linked to its neighbours. Built on a custom post type so a 190 page site is manageable.
GTM, GA4, Google Ads conversion tags and call tracking wired in before launch, not after. Danny does this on every site.
Hosted and maintained by us. When a plugin breaks or a site is compromised, we fix it; one of our plumbing clients had a malware injection cleaned, core verified and credentials rotated inside a day.
You, the van, the team, the work. Not stock. Nobody believes a stock photo of a smiling plumber and Google does not reward it.
Trades and service businesses, mostly. The discipline is the same for industrial: find the searches that convert, own them, and stop paying for the rest.
The site is the landing point for paid search for plumbers and the foundation of SEO. The full channel picture is on our plumbing marketing overview, and every trade we build for is on the marketing for tradies hub.
Most of our service websites sit between $5,000 and $8,000. We usually package the build into a retainer with SEO or Google Ads, which gives you far more value for the money. We publish the range because plumbers ask and most agencies will not answer. The price includes the tracking setup and the first round of service pages.
A number that is tappable on every screen, an offer, the services you do with a page for each, the suburbs you cover, your licence number, real photos, Google reviews and a form that takes thirty seconds. Everything else is optional.
The profile gets you in the map pack. The website is what the profile links to, where the sceptical check you are real, and where the ads land. For SEO beyond the map pack you need the service and suburb pages, and they live on the site.
WordPress. Builders like Wix and Squarespace are fine for a brochure but fall over when you need 50 suburb pages, proper schema, call tracking and a custom quote popup. Every plumbing site we build is WordPress, hosted and maintained by us.
Two to four weeks for a conversion-built service site, longer if suburb pages are included. The slow part is always the content and photos from the client, so we start collecting those on day one.
Often, yes. If the platform is sound we can rework the layout, add the conversion elements and the tracking, and build out the service pages. If it is a 2016 theme on shared hosting with no mobile layout, a rebuild is cheaper than the patching.
We'll tell you in a sentence whether to fix it or rebuild it.
Send a quick note. We'll get back same day, usually within an hour. No automated replies, no sales sequence, just Garo.
